Apply Policies to an Existing Application
Enforcement policies can be changed for an application at any time, without going through a policy editor for each one. Open the actions menu (three dots) on an application row in the Application Inventory and choose Apply Policies.
The page lists every enforcement policy grouped by category — Security, Privacy, and Safety — with the policies already applied to this application switched on. Each group has an Enable All / Disable All action next to its title, exactly as in the application creation flow.
Switch policies on and off freely and click Save to apply every addition and removal at once. Cancel returns to the Application Inventory and leaves the application's policies unchanged.
Below the list, Set as the default for new applications stores the selection as the policy set every application created afterwards starts with — including the ones Alice creates automatically from traffic. The note under the checkbox says how many policies the current default holds, or that new applications currently start with every policy in the project. Ticking the box alone is enough to enable Save, so you can promote an application's existing policy set to the default without changing it. Saving with every policy switched off clears the default instead of storing an empty one, which returns new applications to starting with every policy.
Note: Removing a policy discards the escalation configuration stored for that application and policy — the prompt, the escalation band, the model, and whether escalation was switched off. Re-applying the policy later starts from the defaults.
The action appears only for users whose role can edit WonderFence policies. Accounts on the legacy policy experience, where a policy is enabled once for the whole project rather than per application, do not have it.
